Amardeep Singh, a resident of Singapore, was educated at The Doon School (Dehradun, India), Manipal Institute of Technology (India), and pursued a Master in Business Administration at the University of Chicago, USA. Before becoming an Independent Visual Ethnographic Researcher, Amardeep worked in the Financial Services sector for 25 years and was the Head of the Asia Pacific Region at American Express for Revenue Management. He is the Producer & Director of the award-winning 24-episode documentary series on Guru Nanak, titled ‘ALLEGORY, A Tapestry of Guru Nanak’s Travels’ and has authored two books, ‘Lost Heritage, The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’ and ‘The Quest Continues: Lost Heritage, The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’.

Vininder Kaur

Director, Script Writer, Music Coordinator

Vininder Kaur, a resident of Singapore, was educated at the Convent of Jesus and Mary (Dehradun, India). She pursued a degree in fashion design and taught at ONGC College of Vocational Studies. She also worked as a fashion designer in an international buying house in India. She is the Director, Script Writer & Music Coordinator of the award-winning 24-episode documentary series on Guru Nanak, titled ‘ALLEGORY, A Tapestry of Guru Nanak’s Travels’. She is also the editor of two books, ‘Lost Heritage, The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’ and ‘The Quest Continues: Lost Heritage, The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’.

Satninder Singh Bodal

Vocalist

Satninder Singh Bodal lives in Bodal, Punjab, India. He attained classical musical training under (Late) Ustad B.S. Narang of the Shamchurasi Gharana. He is a leading exponent of Hindustani Classical Vocalist and all the Raags of the Guru Granth Sahib. He is an A Grade Artist of All India Radio in Indian Classical Vocal. He is a recipient of many prestigious awards like, Ustad Shouqat Ali Award 2023 by PGCM Trust, Yuva Sangeet Rattan 2014 in Kurukshetra, 2014 CMSB National Award, Sangeet Ratan Samman 2016 by Akhil Bharatiya Sangeet Sammelan Delhi. Satninder has performed worldwide music orums.

Mahabeer Singh

Rabab

Mahabeer Singh received his education in Rabab and vocals from Ustad Inderjeet Singh Bindhu Ji at Jawaddi Takshal, Ludhiana, India. He has performed worldwide and released many tracks. His Rabab recital was recorded for Virasat-E-Khalsa Museum at Anandpur Sahib and Art Gallery Museum, Amritsar, India.

Sukhdev Singh

Tabla

Sukhdev Singh is a disciple of Ustad Zafar Hussain of Punjab Gharana. He has performed in classical concert in India, Canad and Malaysia. He has also played the Tabla for the 24-episode docuseries “ALLEGORY, A Tapestry of Guru Nanak’s Travels”.

Vignesh Jayaraman

Mridangam

Vignesh Jayaraman hailing from a traditional music family, was introduced to the art form Mridangam at the age of 5 years. He is a disciple of Mridangam Selvam Kumbakonam Dr. N Padmanaban and for his further proficiency, he has started learning from Sangeeta Kalanithi Mridangam Maestro Thiruvarur M Bakthavatsalam. He is a graded artist of "All India Radio". He is the finest Mridangam Artist of the current generation. He has won a National award from the Government of India titled "Kala Bhushan" and holds a "Limca Book of Records for participating in 108 Mridangam ensemble Conducted by his guru. He is a regular performing artist.

Radhika Ramakrishnan

Radhika Ramakrishnan started learning Carnatic vocal music at the age of seven. In addition to her vocal training, she also started learning Veena from the renowned Vainika, Late Smt. Prema Mallikarjunan. At present, Radhika is learning under the tutelage of renowned Vainika Kalaimamani Vidushi R. Ramani. Radhika has completed her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Carnatic music from the University of Delhi and holds a Diploma in Music Therapy from Chennai School of Music Therapy. She is also a recipient of senior scholarship by ministry of culture. She has given performances in SNA IGNCA and IIC to name a few and has been performing in and around Delhi.

Kashif Nizami

Kashif Nizami is a talented Singer, Sarangi & Saranda player. He is the so of Ustad Allauddin Khan. His repertoire includes Rersian, Arabic, Hindi and Urdu poetry. Kashif Nizami has performed in a number of music festivals, such as Baba Hari Ballabh, Jashn-e-Khusro, Sindhi Sufi Festival and Kabir Festival. He has played with many accomplished artists as, Jagjit Singh, Ghulam Ali, Abida Parveen , etc.

Adnan Khan

Born into a family of illustrious musician, he is the son of renowned Sitar maestro Ustad Saeed khan of Dilli Gharana. Adnan started his initial sitar education under his maternal grandfather Late Ustad Zafar Ahmed Khan. He has been learning the intricacies of the instrument from his father. Adnan khan belongs Dilli gharana from maternal side and Kirana gharana from paternal side. Adnan was a senior A grade Scholar at ITC Sangeet Research Academyunder Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan from 2009 to 2013. Adnan has performed in various prestigious music festivals – Baba Harballa Sangeet Sammelan, ITC Sangeet Sammelan, MTV India Music Summit, World Music Festival (Turkmenistan), Bangal Foundation in Bangladesh, Indian & Bahrain Festival in Bahrain, International Festival In Maldives, Salt Lake Music Conference, Arohi Music Festival, Sangeet Academy, Ustad Vilayat Khan Foundation.

Bhagta Singh started learning vocal & instrument at the age of 13 from Ustad Gurpreet Singh. Since 2018, he is a student of Ustad Gurmeet Singh (Delhi). He has participated in many music competitions and won awards - Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan (Jalandhar 2018), Bawra Sangeet Sammelan (Jalandhar (2019), Gurnaad Music Competition (Delhi 2018-19), Sarabh Bharti Sangeet Sammelan (Chandigarh 2019-20), International KIM competition 2021, Gavoh Sachi Bani Season -3 (2019).

Smit Tiwari learnt Dhrupad & Tabla from mother Smt. Chhaya Tiwari. Started Sarod Training from father, Shri Chandra Shekhar Tiwari. He is a disciple of Prof. Suprahat Pal of Maihar Gharana. He has completed M.Phil from Faculty of Music & Fine Arts University of Delhi. Smit has received many awards and performed at prestigious forums like, Pradeshik Sangeet Pratiyogita organized by Sangeet Natak Academy (Lucknow), Sangeet Pratiyogita Shardotsav (Nainital 2002), Sangeet Sammelan by Gandhi Sahitya Academy (Delhi 2007), awarded National Scholarship for Young Artist 2010 by Ministry of Culture Govt. of India, Allauddin Khan Memorial Award (I.T.C, Mumbai), Baba Harivallabh Music competition (Jalandhar 2013), Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar (2015 Sangeet Natak Academy).

Vikas started learning Shehnai from his father, Pandit Shambhu Dayal. Later he came under the tutelage of Pandit Vishnu Prasanna of the Banaras Gharana. He was also associated with Pandit Ashok Kumar Chaurasia. Presently, he is receiving advanced training from Pandit Rajendra Prasanna of Banaras Gharana. Vikas has been bestowed numerous awards like, Surman Awar from Sur Singar Samsad (Mumbai 1993), Sahitya Kala Parishad Youth Festival Award (New Delhi 1995), The Habital Centre Trio Award (New Delhi 2002). Vikas has performed in International musical concerts in Europe, Egypt and Sout Africa.

Mohandeep Bawra born in a family of musicians, he has started his initial training of music at very tender age of four under the able guidance of his grandfather the great musician Dr Joginder Singh Bawra. Currently he has been learning music from his father Shri Jagdeep Kiran Bawra. He is M.A., M.Phil in music from University of Delhi. He has given many performances in various music concerts, festivals such as Harivallabh Sangeet sammelan Jalandhar, Bawra Sangeet Sammelan Jalandhar, Echos of earth Bangalore, Regalia music concert kolkata, Antragini music festival IIT kanpur etc. Mohandeep is the fourth generation continuing the musical legacy in Bawra family.

Rajesh Prasanna is the son and disciple of Pandit Rajendra Prasanna. He was also trained under the tutelage of his grandfather Pt. Raghunath Prasanna, and his uncles Pt. Ravi Shankar Prasanna and Pt. Rakesh Prasanna. Rajesh has been awarded with Surmani Award in Mumbai 2001. He has also been honoured with ‘Sangeet Sadhak Samman’ (Delhi) and is the recipient of “Sangeet Shiromani” Award (Delhi, 2004). He has performed prestigious festivals like the Dover Lane Festival in Kolkata, Saptak Festival in Ahmedabad, Tansen festival in Gwalior to Sawai Gandharva in Pune, and WOMAD in UK and New Zealand.

Dr. Taranjit Singh holds a Post Graduate Degree in Music from Punjab University, Chandigarh and a Ph.D in Performing Arts. He was awarded a Gold Medal in the Master’s degree. He has worked as Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University (Punjab) and is currently employed with Department of School Education, Government of Punjab. He has authored many research papers and published them in reputed music related journals.

Divyansh Srivastava

Divyansh Harshit Srivastava born in a musical family in Banaras where he has taken his initial lessons of music from his father Shree Govind Kumar Verma. Further he started the journey of santoor and became the disciple of Santoor Maestro Pandit Bhajan Sopori of Sufiyana gharana Kashmir. He also received guidance from "Prince of strings" Abhay Rustam Sopori. Divyansh plays the santoor as per the style of Sopori Baaj Santoor which was being re-created by Pandit Bhajan Sopori. He graduated in Commerce and Masters in Music from Delhi University and is perusing PhD on santoor subject from Delhi University. Divyansh has performed at many prestigious stages like, SaMaPa sangeet Sammelan, Hariwallabh Sangeet Sammelan, Mahindra Kabeera Festival, Ganga Mahotsav, Sangeet Natak Academy, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, G20 and Tanssia Soi festival in Kuopio Finland.

Gurpreet Singh is a disciple of Pandit Sushil Kumar Jain of Punjab Gharana. He holds a Ph.D. from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He is a graded artist of All India Radio in Tabla (Grade-B). He is currently employed at Post Graduate Govt. College, Sec 11, Chandigarh. Gurpreet has published research papers in music. He has performed at ICCR, Haribalavbh Sangeet Sammelan and many other noted platforms.
